San Diego is known for its beaches. One of the most busy and famous beaches around San Diego is La Jolla Shores. Good waves for boogie boarders and surfers alike, along with clear waters. You can even go kayaking or snorkeling in the underwater reserves at La Jolla Shores. La Jolla Shores is also great for picnicking with its large park area with benches and bonfire pits built right on the beach. It is a beautiful drive down to La Jolla Shores, and the beauty doesn’t go away once you’re there. You can never get sick of La Jolla shores. But if you’re looking for a smaller crowd, go on a weekday or at night when you may still find the water to be warm considering it is summer.
